Yoga for Balance and Stability

Yoga for Balance and Stability is designed for students who are recovering from injury, working with limited mobility or special conditions, or looking for more supported ways to build strength and improve balance. Students practice yoga using a variety of props, including chairs, allowing them to experience the stretching and strengthening benefits of yoga regardless of their current physical condition. While some students may transition to the floor for the last part of the practice and for relaxation, others may choose to continue practicing with the support of a chair.

Yoga Level 1

Yoga Level 1 students learn the fundamental principles of yoga through basic standing and seated postures and breath awareness. Students who are new to yoga and those who seek to build confidence in their practice can feel comfortable in these beginner-level classes. Teachers emphasize respect for each student's ability, incorporating props and offering variations so that postures are accessible for all students who are able to get up and down from the floor.
